From solar race cars to mentoring to micro-lending initiatives, Bobby Blount's lifetime of volunteerism in and around San Antonio has made a lasting impact. In this conversation, we learned more about the cyber transformation San Antonio has experienced over the years, the latest in  K-12 and higher education cyber initiatives, and his advice on getting started with volunteering.

Bobby Blount is an engineer currently serving as The MITRE Corporation Cyber Operations Innovation and Partnership Lead and the San Antonio Site Leader. Bobby has received national, state and local recognitions for his community support efforts and initiatives. With 23 years of school board service, he currently serves as Chair or President of the San Antonio Area African American Community Fund, Bexar County School Boards Coalition, Go Public Campaign and Dragons Soccer Club.
