In Conversation: James Peoples talks Improvement Week, the Brotherhood, his golf game, and Popeyes
Description
On Land-Grant Holy Land In Conversation, we talk to people in and around Ohio State athletics, and the sporting world at large, to bring you a different insight and perspective to the teams, athletes, and university that you love.
On today’s episode, Matt Tamanini is in conversation with Ohio State running back James Peoples. Since Ohio State doesn't have "Bye weeks," they have "Improvement Weeks," the RB talks about what he and the team focused on this past week.
He also gets into what it is like playing for Carlos Locklyn, what he learned last season being in a room with TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins, what the Brotherhood means and how important it was to winning last year's title, and what he needs to work on in his golf game.
James was available thanks to his NIL partnership with Popeyes Chicken. From Sept. 9 through Nov. 8, each Popeyes NIL athlete will have an individualized digital promo code for Popeyes Rewards Members to enjoy: 12 Wings for $12.
Fans who redeem the athletes’ promo codes will help them climb the leaderboard. The athlete with the most fan participation will score a fully catered tailgate celebration for their fans during rivalry week. So, make sure to support James Peoples by using code Peoples12 to order Popeyes wings online this weekend.
