In 2022, the United Nations reported that for the first time since 1998, there has been an increase in extreme poverty. This year many countries are facing inflation and a cost of living crisis that is worsening poverty. This week, we look at the current state of poverty worldwide, and weigh up the pros and cons of profit-driven health care.
