For one week we each chose one cookbook to cook a new recipe for dinner every night. It's easy to get bored and stagnant with the meals we prepare, so we wanted to challenge ourselves to try something new!
Drink pairing: Homemade Mulled Wine - For one serving: 1/2 bottle of red wine (any will do), sliced orange, cinnamon sticks, dash of cardamom, 1 tsp maple syrup and star anise for presentation. The liquid will reduce as you let it simmer for 1-2 hours.
