In the loop: Vikesh Anand
Description
HELLOO LOVELIES & A VERY HAPPY WEDNESDAY!! Today in the Up + Coming Speechies in the loop episode we chat with the incredible Vikesh Anand! Vikesh is the National President of the Australian Speak Easy Association and an incredible advocate for people who stutter. Thursday 22nd of October is International Stuttering Awareness Day which is intended to raise awareness about stuttering and the barriers faced by people who stutter (PWS). In this episode we hear about some of the lived experiences throughout Vikesh's journey and how he gained the confidence to transform from once staying silent, to now communicating without fear. Vikesh also sheds some light on the need for more societal education to ensure we overcome ignorance and create a community where all people with communicative differences can interact comfortably. This is a truly moving and incredible discussion and we recommend it for up and coming speechies, but also your friends and family!!
