Increasing number of charities de-registered

Description
New figures from the Department of Internal Affairs show 815 charities have de-registered this year, that's up from 640 last year. Despite a slight increase in voluntary deregistration, the Department has noticed a 20% increase in charity applications, compared to the previous year. The total number of registered charities on the register has also steadily increased at a rate of about 1% each year, since the register was established in 2007.
