In this episode we’re discussing Inflation, Interest Rates and how it affects you. Our guest is Aaron Leary, a loan officer at Compeer Financial here in Monmouth. We recorded this conversation on September 23rd, 2022, shortly after the Federal Reserve announced that they would be raising interest rates. During these economic times that we are witnessing, we wanted to get Aaron’s perspective on what is causing inflation and how rising interest rates affect the housing market, and farmers who are carrying debt or are considering new loans.
