On January 1, 2020, I sat for a 10-day silent Vipassana meditation course in Merritt, British Columbia and survived to tell the tale. Although it was difficult at times, I found this meditation technique to be one of the most practical and useful things I’ve ever come across for coping with the ups and downs of life.
