Description

In this episode, we talk with Barun Gurung about the institutional transformation and cultural change that is needed for organizations to be more inclusive, nimble, and better equipped to better adapt and respond to crisis.

Barun Gurung is an anthropologist with training in ecological anthropology. He has over 15 years of global experience, in particular with ethnic communities in the Himalayan region and across Asia. Among other things, Barun has led a global program for the CGIAR Group that pioneered an approach to organizational change for gender equality and social inclusion within traditional male-dominated agriculture and natural resource management organizations in Asia, Africa and Latin America. He also trained and mentored men and women of over 30 organizations in developing countries on the topics of gender mainstreaming and reframing leadership.
