Dr. Ernie Chan graduated with a PhD in physics. Early in his career worked for IBM in research around machine learning then moved to Morgan Stanley and then Credit Suisse.
Ernie nowadays runs an automation trading business and is an institution in the space of machine learning & AI. That led him down the route of application of statistical models and software for trading currencies, futures, and stocks. He works alongside multiple prop firms and banks.
In this conversation, I was also joined by Norm from TipToeHippo, a Global Prime client whose successful trading has been greatly influenced by Ernie.
