Interview Show - Ian Hallam
Description
Ian Hallam is an Olympic medal winner from a time when British cyclists generally didn’t win Olympic medals. He first represented Great Britain at the Mexico games in 1968 and went on to win a bronze medal in Munich in 1972 and again in 1976 in Montreal in the Team Pursuit. He also won 3 Commonwealth titles in the Individual Pursuit and 4km Team Pursuit and has held no fewer than 25 National track titles between 1969 and 1981.
Chris Sidwells caught up with Ian this week to talk about his career, training and life after cycling (plus some lesser-known aerodynamic innovations from the 1970s!).
