My name is Carol Moses and I’m the owner of a company called Portobello Tom, have 2 children aged 6 and 16 and I am also a bereaved mother. My first child passed away from meningitis 16 years ago. I’ve discovered many things over the last 16 years, one of which being that even the strong need reminding of how amazing they are every now and again. As a result of my own life journey I now make charm bracelets and have recently created a collection of affirmation bracelets called JOURNEY, in order to remind people of how amazing they are. I want to remind people of how important their stories are and that you can not only recover from trauma, you can in fact go on to thrive. Like the saying goes ‘your mess can become your message.’
