We were thrilled to welcome back the incomparable Adam Savage¹! It’s been two decades since his first interview with us, and the capital ‘M’ Maker is busier than ever. He shares how his work evolved after MythBusters and MythBusters Junior, moving to the creation of roughly 400 videos a year on his incredibly successful YouTube channel, Tested. Adam discusses the incredible access his reputation has granted him in film and aerospace industries, his thoughts on the current state of maker technology—from having 3D printers in his shop to his reluctance to jump on AI for creative output—and his philosophy of being a “permission machine” that inspires others to pursue their deepest passions.
