Yes, God has done it again!

 

I’m always honored when I get the opportunity to meet or speak with someone whom I have long admired. Being able to talk to them about their journey with God is what motivates, encourages, and strengthens me to continue with what I am doing. Then there are those times when there is a short term admiration where I get a glimpse into the life of someone briefly; I notice an accomplishment of some kind that they have achieved or some journey that they are on with the Lord, Jesus Christ. These people make you go, “Hmm. I need to know more about how they got to the place that they are at.” Something, even in a moment, grabs me and I’m intrigued. So, this is where Erick Armster, also known to many as Brotha E, comes in! He’s one of those people for me.

 

I had the pleasure of interviewing this young man who is doing some amazing things with his life while serving at Fellowship of Christian Athletes. It was an honor to speak to him about what it truly means to be on the winning side for Christ. Not only does he love the Lord, he’s also a graduate of Sidney Lanier High School, like me. (Yes, that was a shameless plug for my high school!) So, of course I was beyond elated to learn more about how Erick’s life had changed because of the goodness of Christ and what his life has been like since.  I do hope that your spirit is uplifted as you listen to his interview.
