My interview this week is with Mike Kelly, an executive coach, consultant, financial planner, board director and author of “Leaderfluence: Secrets of Leadership Essential to Effectively Leading Yourself and Positively Influencing Others.” 

During our conversation, the Mars Hill University graduate shares his very personal story-from humble beginnings in North Carolina to a college basketball scholarship which ultimately changed the course of his life. With a business degree in hand, Mike became a successful business professional and executive at Macy’s and Michelin. But early on in his career, he says that he realizes that above all else, he should know himself and find clarity in his own personal mission. Perhaps Mike’s discovery may be yours as well. Mike suggests that we try writing down own personal mission.
