Description

Everyday Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) shows up at work. Unfortunately for many victims of IPV they are further victimized by their employers with threats of reduced pay and most times victims are terminated. IPV has direct and indirect economic costs for the victims and the companies they work with. However, employers can incorporate an employee centered approach using a Social Justice Lens to create a culture of care for all employees especially those who are victims of #IPV. This podcast skims the surface looking at ways IPV affects employers and employees and other members of staff and provides some suggestions on why a Social Justice Lens is critical in employers response.
