Description
For the last four years I have been a dainty online blogger and comedian, largely writing about my experiences and observations as a single and Persian woman in the world of evangelical Christianity. Almost everyday I posted a joke, and each time I did, I pushed out of my safe little box and allowed both my jokes and my faith to progress. I found my voice not only as a comedian, but also as an advocate for survivors, an advocate for people on their journey in mental health & addiction recovery, and a straight-shooter when it comes to confronting people or institutions abusing their power. It is finally my turn to hold the mic.
