Iowa Player with Heart: Azaria McDonough
Description
Azaria McDonough was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for her commitment and passion on and off the field and court. What she loves most about high school sports is the team aspect and working together to achieve a goal. Azaria is involved in volleyball, softball, basketball, track, student council, and the National Honor Society. In her free time, she volunteers at her local town celebration and does community service through the 4-H club. To Azaria, agriculture means producing food and other resources for animals and people to flourish. Family farms are important to the fabric of Iowa and the rest of the Midwest. After she graduates, she plans on going to a 4-year college to major in communications.
