But during the early 20th-century, one monk would emerge and gain infamy in Bangkok, using his knowledge of black magic, love potions, and religious customs to gain followers, ensnare victims, and uproot the very traditions that formed the basis of his faith; himself becoming the folk legend known as Iron-Chest Boonpeng.
