One of the beauty of the French language is definitely its profusion of quirky, funny, poetic expressions... and I know it does not always make sense when translated into English leaving often French culture/language lovers completely flabbergasted... but isn't it part of the charm of the journey after-all?! Oui, oui, bien entendu ! In this episode, I will talk about a popular french expression using the word BONJOUR (oui oui you understood HELLO) .... c'est simple comme bonjour, it is simple as hello (easy peasy). But like Alanis Morissette would say, isn't it ironic don't you think?!....  when you know that in France, especially for foreigners (and sometimes even for natives) saying hello can be a bit tricky or even confusing....why you may ask.... well let's find out in today's podcast!
