On this week’s episode of The Real Oshow, brothers Joshua and Zachary dive into the wild rumor that GTA 6 will use Ethereum as its in-game currency. 

They break down how this could be genius brand building for Ethereum, putting it in front of millions of players and driving up its real-world value.

The brothers point out that GTA 6 takes place in a fictional Miami, the real-life crypto capital, and note that Rockstar’s parent company, Take-Two Interactive, recently tested a blockchain game under Zynga using the Ethereum blockchain. 

Whether it’s Ethereum, Bitcoin, or U.S. dollars, they believe GTA 6 will use real money and even create real-life millionaires, just like FaZe Banks predicted years ago.

They also discuss how Rockstar might be delaying the game because AI keeps advancing so fast that it’s forcing them to keep improving it before launch. Reports say Rockstar even spent over $200 million just on water physics to make hurricanes and flooding look real.

The episode wraps with Michael Jordan’s major lawsuit win against NASCAR, where his team proved the league runs like a monopoly. Potentially changing its 25% revenue share to match other sports after a $7.7 billion TV deal.
