Cannabis is legal in Canada from the age of 18, and in certain US states it has been legal for recreational use for people aged 21 and over since 2018. An Oireachtas Joint Committee on Drugs Use has recommended the decriminalisation of personal drug use, including cannabis. To discuss, Ray Walley, GP and professor of General Practice at UCD, and former People Before Profit TD, Gino Kenny.
