Teryl Austin's days as the Steelers defensive coordinator are numbered. Teryl Austin has never finished in the top 10 in defense. By firing Teryl Austin, everything with the defense is in Mike Tomlin's hands. Tomlin's fate beyond this season would be linked back to the defense.
