Fun and accessible way to learn Italian
This is a great tool for people who already have some knowledge of Italian language as well as beginners who would like to sharpen their listening and broaden their vocabulary in Italian. I have a background in language learning so it was convenient and easy for me to use through Audible while on the way to work or on a break at lunch. There is a very helpful PDF to follow along with that includes vocabulary, and made it really easy to go over what I didn't understand and then practice again. I loved that I could listen to the stories because that way I knew the correct pronunciation and tone to use. I really enjoyed learning in this way and found it to be pretty fun!

one of the best learning tools yet
The audio was overall of good quality. The narrator was clear and precise in the enunciation of the words. Catching the titles of each story was easy to understand overall. (I.e. The old drunkard, find a billion on a cruise, etc.)
I would rather use a longer story with only a few of them, rather then more smaller ones. The book comes with questions to answer to further help you along with the learning process, which is a great bonus for anyone trying to learn a new language.
The stories are brilliant in learning phrasing since it helps to put the wordsin a more natural sentence then simple word learning.
Overall I like this idea to learn a language better since it don't just teach the simple words, but the phrasing and content as well, which is very important in a conversation.

Very Effective Teaching Tool
Where does Italian Short Stories for Beginners rank among all the audiobooks youve listened to so far?
Im a student whos attempting to learn Italian, and I found this to be a wonderful tool. The narrators are very relaxing, and the stories are very clearly read. I find this method of learning to be kind of a brute force method, but combined with other teaching services like Duolingo and a personal drive to learn the language, Id say brute force is the way to go. To me, its as close of an experience you can get to just going to Italy, and Ive been to Italy before. Its very convenient to be able to access the book at any time through audible, and I really enjoy taking breaks from work to immerse myself in the language. Its definitely necessary to use supplementary material provided with the book in your more active listening sessions

As a language enthusiast, I thoroughly enjoyed these stories; I felt like this was the best way to learn. The stories were interesting and also easy to follow the pronunciation was meticulous which made it possible to learn new words and also understand how to conjugate a sentence. The most effective feature was how all the difficult words were translated and repeated, this helped in learning and memorizing those words and ultimately buildinga bettervocabulary.
