Brazils largest private bank, Itaú Unibanco, is now advising investors to allocate a small portion of their portfolios to Bitcoin, ranging from one to three percent next year. Despite Bitcoins volatile year, the bank sees its value in diversification and as a currency hedge due to its global and decentralized nature. Itaú Asset Management has launched a dedicated crypto division and plans to expand its digital asset offerings, including fixed-income investments and volatile strategies like derivatives and staking.
