लेह से लामायुरू के बीच सौ किलोमीटर का सफर ऐसी ऐसी नायाब चीज़ों से भरा है कि समय कब बीतता है पता ही नहीं चलता। ऐसी ही एक यात्रा में लामायुरू के बौद्ध मठ में पहुंचना और फिर दिन भर घूमना और सेना के कॉन्वॉय के चलते वहां रुकना एक अनोखे अनुभव का कारण बना। थकान से बचने के लिए ऊँचे पहाड़ से गुज़र रही खाली सड़क पर सोना और शाम के ढलते सूरज में उठकर नीचे मठ देखना एक अजीब सी अनुभूति थी।

Road became the bed: Lamayuru

The hundred kilometer journey between Leh to Lamayuru monastery is littered with so many wonders that you lose track of the time spent here. One such trip to the monastery was accompanied by a forced halt due to military convoy movement. This gave us a chance of a lifetime to sleep on the road just above the monastery and wake up to catch a glimpse of the sunset.
