Jacki-E - Unsettled (Beat Collective Challenge 27102024)

Description
This is my entry for the Beat Collective Challenge of 27-10-2024 in which participants are given two or three samples and are challenged to make an original track (any genre) utilising the samples.
This month the samples were provided by Increment and are:-
Sample 1 - Bass Thump (a one shot could be a nice kick or bass).
Sample 2 - Delayed old creaky door - a little creepy but Halloween is upon us.
Sample 3 - Vocal_nightcall_C - another unsettling sound is in in the key of C.
For Sample 1, the Bass Thump, I put it in Ableton's Simpler, came up with a simple melody (F-F-F-A#) and played it throughout the track as part of the bass sound design.
For Sample 2, the old creaky door, I chopped this and used it to create a creepy atmosphere for the trackin the main breakdown and from around 3:20 . I also used the sample as is in the main brreakdown at 2:20 , at 3:25 and in the second breakdown, at 3:50 .
For Sample 3, the vocal nightcall, I put this into Simpler and played a brief rhythmic phrase, which you can hear from 1:20 and then again from 2:25 .
