Description

Bio: JAMIE MICHELLE WAGGONER (she/her) is a pagan priestess, philosopher, author, and teacher with 25+ years of study and practice. Jamie’s work centers around eclectic theurgic and folk magic, mythology, oracular traditions, trance arts, and liminal rites.

Jamie has studied esoteric and occult subjects since 1995. She began her priestess path as a member of the Sisterhood of Avalon for 13 years (2005-2018). She now uses her skills, empathy, and experience to lead independent workshops, rituals, sacred circles, and study programs. Her work as a priestess is highlighted in the Red Tent documentary film (2012) and the Goddess on Earth Oracle (2021).

When she’s not teaching or facilitating, Jamie is writing. Most recently, her essays have been featured in anthologies such as The Host of Many: Hades and His Retinue (Bibliotheca Alexandrina, 2020) and The Feminine Macabre Volume IV (SpookEats Publishing, 2022). Her first full-length nonfiction book, Hades: Myth, Magic and Modern Devotion, is forthcoming from Llewellyn Worldwide in late 2023.
