Description
Jeff Kent, a former baseball star, has been elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame by the Contemporary Baseball Era Committee. Known for hitting more home runs than any other second baseman, Kent received 87.5% of the votes, surpassing the required 75%. He played for several teams from 1992 to 2008, earning five All-Star selections and the NL MVP award in 2000. Kent will be inducted alongside other chosen players, with results announced on January 20th.
