A special day to exploring the island and showcasing distinctive villages in Jeju!
Having ended last year at the westernmost point,
I’ll start the new year by traveling to the small easternmost village of Jongdal-ri in Jeju.
In Jongdal-ri, I’ll explore the history of Jeju’s first-ever salt flats
and meet Chun-ok Kim, a haenyeo (female diver), to hear her life story.
