Description
Jess Currier is a Los Angeles-based painter known for her bold, textural oil works that blend portraiture with translucent floral patterns. After earning her BFA from York College of Pennsylvania in 2014, she held her first solo exhibition in California and later completed her MFA at Academy of Art University, studying painting in Florence, Italy. Since committing fully to painting in 2017, her work has been exhibited across the U.S. and Europe, featured in publications, and collected internationally. Currier now paints and teaches from her studio in the world’s largest artist-in-residence community.
