1. Jesus, the very thought of Thee With sweetness fills the breast;

But sweeter far Thy face to see, And in Thy presence rest.

2. Nor voice can sing, nor heart can frame, Nor can the memory find

A sweeter sound than Thy blest Name, O Savior of mankind!

3. O hope of every contrite heart, O joy of all the meek,

To those who fall, how kind Thou art! How good to those who seek!

4. But what to those who find? Ah, this Nor tongue nor pen can show;

The love of Jesus, what it is, None but His loved ones know.

5. Jesus, our only joy be Thou, As Thou our prize will be;

Jesus be Thou our glory now, And through eternity.

1. 耶稣我主，每想起祢，心中充满甘甜；

若见祢面，安息祢怀，更加甜蜜难言。

2. 非口能唱，非心能想，难寻记忆印象。

救主圣名最甜最美，别无祂名可比。

3. 痛悔的心获得盼望，温柔的心欢畅；

跌倒的人必蒙垂怜，寻求必得寻见。

4. 寻见的人得著什么？笔墨难以描绘。

耶稣的爱究竟如何？惟蒙爱者领会。

5. 只有耶稣是我喜乐，是我将来冠冕；

恳求耶稣成我荣耀，直到永永远远。
