About Joe:

Joe Duke is the founding and Senior Pastor of LifePoint Church located outside of Baltimore, Maryland. Joe’s passion is leading and teaching, and he especially enjoys helping people experience Jesus and church in authentic and creative ways. 

After receiving his ThM from Dallas Seminary, Joe and his family moved to Maryland to help start LifePoint in 1987. Meeting in schools in the early days, LifePoint Church now occupies a 70-acre campus with plans for continued expansion.

Joe is married to Tricia who is a nurse practitioner. They have two grown sons, both married and five grandchildren. Joe has been a professional photographer for over 30 years—a passion that continues to this day. When Joe is not involved in the daily routine of church ministry, he is likely to be staring down a grizzly bear in Alaska or photographing morning light as it hits the peaks of the Colorado Rockies.
