Julia Archer on Environmental Activism, Creative Writing and Community Living
Description
Does activism need creativity? How can we use writing to better understand ourselves? Could community living strengthen our connection to the natural world?
In this episode I'm joined by activist and poet, Julia Archer. It's clear that Julia has a fervent interest in environmental activism, from her involvement with Extinction Rebellion to her presidency of the Eco-Society at her university. We chat about her motivation behind this as well as our mutual love of poetry and where creativity and activism meet for us. This was such a fascinating conversation to engage in and I hope you gain as much from it as I did <3
Make sure to listen out in the episode for a beautiful reading of Julia's poem, The History of the Worlds.
