Katie Janner grew up in Austin as a typical theatre kid and got her BA in Theatre from the University of Texas in 2017. After a summer in LA, she moved back home with no money and no job prospects until one day she discovered she could make money at home with voiceover work. She saved all her money from voice over and side hustles and moved to NYC, where she got a catering job and kept growing her VO business. Now she spends her time 50/50 voiceover and podcast editing/consulting, and booking some acting as well. Her voiceover work includes voicemails, a children book, GPS systems, bus announcements, Spotify/radio commercials, TV ads, and lots of marketing and training videos, and she now has started a podcast called Katie talks a lot about moving to NYC, being an actor and entrepreneur.
