“Professor Thompson, whose lake home sat on the shores of Lake Herrington said he had seen the creature an uncounted number of times and after this many encounters could still not determine Herry’s species. In an interview with the Louisville Courier, the professor is quoted as having said: ‘It’s only a monster in the sense that one would call an alligator a monster if they had never seen one before.’”
