Ole Miss quarterback Austin Simmons was superb in his debut as the full-time starter, engineering a 63-7 win over Georgia State as the Rebels had 695 yards of offense. Kentucky quarterback Zach Calzada had a tough debut, throwing for just 85 yards on 23 attempts in the Wildcats' 24-16 win over Toledo. The Wildcats, however, played good defense and got a 79-yard touchdown run from Nebraska transfer Dante Dowdell late. Will Kentucky be able to control Ole Miss’s high-tempo offense and engineer a slow-paced game in order to pull an upset the way it did a year ago? Or will the Rebels be too much to handle and keep the Kentucky defense on the field much of the day?
