Description
This week a deal was signed at Parliament between Maori and the Crown for the return of more than 3000 hectares of land in Nelson, Tasman and Golden Bay. Kerensa Johnston and Jeremy Banks were part of the decades long legal battle to regain the land which dates back to an agreement in the 1840s. They were both at Parliament on Wednesday and tell Julian Wilcox what it was like to finally see justice done and what happens next.
