Hello, Buckeyes! Welcome back to campus. As we kick off the autumn semester, here are some important dates and events to keep in mind.

First, a reminder that today, September 1st, is Labor Day. There are no classes, and campus offices are closed. Enjoy the holiday!

Looking ahead, mark your calendars for the Major, Graduate, and Professional School Fair on September 24th. This event will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Alber Student Center's Greg Swepston Gymnasium. It's a great opportunity for students to explore various majors and learn about potential graduate programs.

For those interested in mental health awareness, the REACH Suicide Prevention Training is scheduled for September 11th from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Maynard Hall, Room 125. This training aims to equip participants with the skills to recognize and respond to signs of suicide risk.

Looking further ahead, don't miss the Buckeye Preview Day on October 2nd. This event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Guthery Community Room of Maynard Hall. It's an excellent chance for prospective students to learn about the opportunities available at Ohio State Marion.

Also, the Five Nights on Campus performing arts series is set to begin soon. While specific dates and performers for this season are yet to be announced, this series traditionally features a variety of performances, from traditional Irish folk music to Broadway hits. Keep an eye on the university's website for updates.
