Julien Le Guenan is currently Investment Project Buyer North America at Volvo Group. The Volvo Group is a Swedish multinational manufacturing company headquartered in Gothenburg. Its core activity is the production, distribution, and sale of trucks, buses, and construction equipment. Volvo also supplies marine and industrial drive systems.

Julien is based in Montreal, Canada Area, and previously held positions alternately as production and non-production buyer for trucks and buses divisions at Volvo and MAN Diesel & Turbo. In this interview, Julien explains how hands-on a direct buyer is and how rewarding in terms of cost-saving it can be.
