Chris has more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of lending, including credit risk and underwriting, product development and deployment, direct-to-consumer marketing, customer service, and originations. He is a dynamic servant leader who leads his organization based on biblical principles learned and downloaded to him through his time studying the Word of God and from the Holy Spirit. He is an experienced, results-oriented leader with a background in entrepreneurship, people leadership, business development, and operations.
He is currently the co-founder and CEO of OpenRoad Lending, an online direct-to-consumer auto finance company operating in 42 states. The company began in 2009 with two staff - headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas – and now employs over 200. OpenRoad Lending processes over 800,000 applications annually and has originated over $5 billion since its inception.
