Kingston | Episode 17
Description
Kingston DIY is one of Scotland’s most popular DIY parks. Based under a motorway, the project has grown in popularity each month, with the pandemic spearheading it on social media. Three of the people behind it join us today for an in-depth look at how Kingston came to be. Roan, Tam and Stu talk about the project's beginnings and the project's future, and we’re asking all of your questions about the DIY and getting the full story of how it came to be the place we all recognise and love to skate today. Remember that DIY projects are not funded and rely on grants (where possible - and that’s rare these days) or donations. If you can help out in any way, no matter how big or small, then head of to the Kingston Instagram and do what you can. Here’s to a great year. The question is - can we outdo last year?
