Dr Kirsten Garner Lyttle is a Māori Australian academic, and creative practice-led researcher (Waka: Tainui; Hapū: Ngāti Tahinga) who has exhibited her work globally. She is the inaugural Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Monash University’s Wominjeka Djeembana Indigenous Research Lab, where her work focuses on the intersection of photography and customary Māori art practices.
