Auburns new head coach, Alex Golesh, is rapidly assembling his coaching team, with a familiar face returning to the Plains. Kodi Burns, a former Auburn player and Goleshs colleague at South Florida, is set to join as wide receivers coach. Burns has previously coached at Auburn and played as both a quarterback and wide receiver, even scoring a touchdown in the 2011 BCS National Championship. Golesh has also hired several other coaches from South Florida, including offensive coordinator Joel Gordon, offensive line coach Tyler Hudanick, cornerbacks coach Demarcus Van Dyke, strength coach George Courides, and director of scouting Alex Fagan. These early appointments indicate Goleshs swift efforts to establish his program.
