Description
Former Texas Longhorns cornerback Kris Boyd, currently with the New York Jets, is in critical condition after being shot in Manhattans Fashion District. The incident, following a dispute, has left the sports community in shock. Boyd, who was on injured reserve, was found with a gunshot wound after a nine-one-one call and was rushed to Bellevue Hospital. The shooter fled in a BMW SUV, and a luxury armored SUV was seen at the scene. Boyd, a Gilmer, Texas native, played four seasons for the Longhorns and has also played for the Vikings, Cardinals, and Texans.
