The Toronto Raptors came to Chase desperate for a win, having lost to both the Lakers and Clippers. Their hunger translated to giving the Golden State Warriors their toughest loss of the season so far, as the Dubs faced the new normal without Jimmy Butler. 

Unfortunately, a tragic ACL injury has ruled out Jimmy for the remainder of the season, calling into question what the Warriors are capable of now, and whether Jimmy will wear a Dubs jersey again. 

The big story for the Warriors, and a small light in a very dark tunnel, was the return of Jonathan Kuminga. In his first game since December 18, Kuminga provided a massive spark off the bench, scoring 20 points in just 21 minutes.

Although the Warriors were down by as much as 30 at one stage, Kuminga's 12-point third-quarter explosion briefly brought the Warriors back into the mix. With Jimmy Butler now out for the season with a torn ACL, the Warriors' trade deadline plans for Kuminga have suddenly become the most interesting storyline in the NBA.
