Gianmarco Quaresmini si innamora del motorsport da bambino, ma comincia a gareggiare con i go-kart circa dieci anni più tardi perché mamma Annamaria ha paura. Noi di The Pass lo abbiamo incontrato all’Autodromo Nazionale Monza in occasione dell’ACI Racing Weekend, evento al quale Gianmarco era presente per competere nei round 7 e 8 della Porsche Carrera Cup Italia con il team Dinamic Motorsport. Nel corso della nostra Track Talk, Gianmarco ha parlato con il cuore di una passione capace di andare oltre e di generare esperienze totalizzanti, che lasciano il segno sia dal punto di vista emotivo sia da quello psicologico.

Nonostante si senta inizialmente spaesato a competere con ragazzini molto più esperti di lui, il bresciano classe 1996 migliora rapidamente e crea un team insieme a papà Piergiorgio per vivere appieno un mondo che lo assorbe sempre di più. I primi successi gli danno un’ulteriore iniezione di fiducia e armonia, per poi portarlo ad approdare alle macchine da corsa e a mettersi in luce anche negli autodromi. È così che un divertimento si trasforma in una carriera inimmaginabile, condivisa con la sua famiglia e con persone che nel tempo ne diventano parte, dando vita ai legami indissolubili di cui Gianmarco ci ha parlato. 

Attualmente impegnato nella preparazione della stagione 2024 e da poco riconfermatosi ai vertici della Porsche Carrera Cup Italia con il secondo posto in campionato dopo essersi laureato campione italiano sia nel 2018 sia nel 2022 e aver macinato chilometri anche nella Porsche Supercup, Gianmarco insegna che quando qualcosa piace molto e ci si cimenta con tutte le proprie risorse, è possibile fare grandi progressi e raggiungere traguardi ambiziosi.

The first successes give him an injection of confidence and harmony, to then lead him to move on to racing cars and to shine in the bigger racetracks as well. This is how fun transforms into an unimaginable career, shared with his family and with people who become part of it over time, giving birth to the unbreakable bonds that Gianmarco told us about. 

Currently preparing for the 2024 season and recently proving his starring role in the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia with second place in the championship after having been crowned Italian champion both in 2018 and in 2022 and having also raced in the Porsche Supercup, Gianmarco teaches that when you like something a lot and you try with all your resources, it’s possible to make great progress and reach ambitious goals.
