Dr. Tiffeny Todd earned her PhD in physics from the University of California, Irvine where she researched a mechanism believed to give birds their ability to sense the Earth's magnetic field to navigate. Today she is a Department Chair and Associate Professor of Physics at Pierce College in Washington state. In January of 2024, she presented a new model for nonlocal consciousness at The Science of Consciousness conference hosted by the University of Arizona's Center for Consciousness Studies.
