Jaggu and Basanti, a prosperous farming couple, lived on the outskirts of Shyampur town. They couple owned a poultry farm. Lajwanti was the pride of their poultry farm, and she could lay six or seven eggs at a time. Basanti allowed all of Lajwanti\'s eggs to hatch. None were eaten or sold. Lajwanti was given a special diet and was allowed other special privileges.With time, Lajwanti became arrogant. One day she discovered an extra egg.
