Last year’s Husker game vs. an FCS opponent left fans a little uncomfortable despite a 34-3 result…did the Akron game already take that potential uncomfortable feeling out?
Update: 2025-09-11
Description
Last year, Nebraska beat Colorado, 28-10, and came back down to Earth a little bit in a 34-3 win over Northern Iowa---the game was not really ever in question (21-3 lead at halftime), but fans didn’t like UNI having a 16-play, 62-yard drive that led to a FG
UNI had 301 yards in that game, with their QB having success on the ground…having already beaten Akron by a million and this being an 11am game, would anyone be surprised if Nebraska looks sluggish? And is that acceptable in any regard?
